About Us

We are the New Testament Church and enjoy fellowship with those who pattern their worship according to the New Testament and seek biblical authority for the direction of the Church.

We do not recognize or embrace any human creeds, disciplines, catechisms, or religious traditions (Matthew 15:7-9).  Instead, we embrace Christ’s plea for unity in John 17:20-21.  To this end, we preach the one Lord, one faith, and one baptism (Ephesians 4:5), as the basis for spiritual unity.

We believe that all religious authority belongs to Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:18). therefore, Christ has the last word in matters of religion.

We believe that this authority extends to all of the Lord’s commandments.

We also believe in the essentials of faith (Hebrews 11:6), repentance (Acts 17:30), confession (Matthew 10:32-33), and baptism (Mark 16:15-16; Acts 2:38), as a faith response to the Gospel.

These responses to the New Testament pattern demonstrate one’s willingness to become a New Testament Christian.

When a believing candidate is baptized, Christ adds them to His Church (Galatians 3:26-27).

Worship in the Church of Christ consists of 5 spiritual areas:

  • Preaching/Teaching: (I Cor. 14:34, I Timothy 2:12);

  • Prayer: (I Thess. 5:17; Ephesians 6:18);

  • Acapella Singing: (Ephesians 5:19, Colossians 3:16);

  • Communion, (the Lord’s Supper): (Acts 20:7, Matthew 26: 26-29);

  • Giving of our means, (Offering): (I Corinthians 16:1-2, I Corinthians 9: 6-7).

Our Mission

We, Quince Church of Christ, will keep God first in everything we do.

We will pray for our leaders that God will direct them.

We will love each other with the utmost respect.

Our actions will speak to the community and they will know who and whose we are.

With God, we will do well when we keep Satan out of our spiritual business.

Our Vision

To be a multicultural, multigenerational body of Christ expressing the goodness of God's kingdom and the lives that it transfers.
